The Capoeira!!





Capoeira is a Brazilian martial arts that combine elements like music, acrobatics, dance, and some natural feelings. The Capoeira start in Brazil in the 16th century at senzalas because planters in Brazil Africans people were slaves. The Capoeira started because the slaves sometimes needed self-defense at the planters and their used these art to defense offenders.

The origins of the word Capoeira sometimes was controversial because this art was legacy of African's people. There is evidence to suggest that the word originates in Angola, where the word "kapwera" is the Bantu verb meaning "to fight. The Capoeira was very secret art because only slaves has this martial arts. They were met at the hideout because sometimes they escapes at the Senzala. Quilombo were the big hideout and the slaves always practiced Capoeira to defense Portuguese attacks.



Today capoeira and historic heritage.  It is known by quick and complex moves, using mainly power, speed, and leverage for a wide variety of kicks, spins, and highly mobile techniques; at heart is the ginga, the back-and-forth, foot-to-foot movement that serves as the starting point for such leverage.



Today, Capoeira is not only a martial art, but an atractive tradition exporter of Brazilian culture all over the world.The movements in the Capoeira should be done when opportunity arises and must be decisive, like a direct kick in the face or a vital body part, or a strong takedown, or only defense. The defense is based on the principle of the tradition movement, meaning avoiding an attack using evasive moves instead of blocking it.





The Capoeira means good feelings, some expressions like native songs or percussion express this martial art. Actually the art promove a equilibrium between your body and soul. Your philosophy based on the dynamics of movement and expression of joy because, Capoeira is art, is feelings and good way to live in harmony all over the world.

How to be a Good Student

Follow these steps if you want to be a good student.


Be punctual and don't be late

Some cultures all over the world keep this rule because inside the class if you have arrived late you will interrupt the class. In the United States, you need to cultivate that habit in your life because the teachers haven't to blame your delay. We need to wake up early morning or will go at one hour early, please put your alarm at the crucial hour. Don't miss class only in cases of life or death. Save your miss chance when you will need.If you want to keep that rule, please run for class early!

Do homework and classwork

Please bring your homework on time estimated. When the teacher talks to you about your responsibility you need to care your works and do your homeworks to bring to class. Its sure when the teacher ask you about homework and you bring on time. Its comfortable. Before the class, you need to read all topics about the next class because you will improve a lot at the class and facilited the work of teacher. Remember "A Good Students are that bring their homeworks and classworks on the time.




Good Students keep their rules and feelings in class but they need to see outside the class and put their objectives in practice for exemple, "I will do my homework early because after my class activities I wanna to play soccer with my friends, if I do that thing I will have free time for doing my hobbies and practice exercises.




Good polite and attendance

You need to be polite with your friends and teachers. Pay attention about these steps because the class is the big center of education, if you don't keep these rules you will have complicate friendship with the people!

It is easy to be a good student if you take those steps.!

The story of the Blues

The Blues is music genre that originated in the United States. Europeans brought many Africans to America as slaves before and during the nineteenth century. The Blues started in the South, in Louisiana and Mississippi. Blues songs sometimes express sad feelings, because after the American Civil War (1861-1865), the African American people in the America weren’t slaves or because the Blues-Men sometimes want to express their feelings about themselves. Blues became very popular in the streets of America in the 20th century.



Their played the Blues with some instruments like the guitar, piano, piper,bass and drums. Some people sometimes sing Blues with sad feelings and during the songs they express their feelings of rebellion. Some Blues Stars musicians and singers have transformed the music of the world. Names like Bessie Smith, B.B King, John Lomax, Robert W. Gordon, Jeff Beck, Eric Clapton, John Lee Hooker and Stevie Ray Vaughan revolutionized the “Feels Songs”.



Blues is popular culture like Jazz, Rock ‘n’ Roll, Heavy Metal, Soul Music and sometimes like Pop Music because The Blues are easier that’s imagine because you need only a guitar or voice to express your heart. Today, The Blues follow a line similar to their origins, but the songs use news elements.




These elements are used in  many kinds of performances by artists like Peggy Scott-Adams, Marvin Sease, Joe Bonamassa and Shemekia Copeland. They introduced in their songs sad and rebellious feelings, alternative clothes, loud voices on stage, and in their lyrics contain personal situations like tragic love, nights in the clubs or melancholic memories.
